JC is not Steve Lange

You may not agree with my comments. At least understand that I am not Steve Lange.

I have thought about the issue of board Members doing business in North Shore.

Because of the type of conflict you are speaking of, I have come to the conclusion that No Board Member should do business in North Shore. Steve Lange is still a board member. I am saying he should not be if he wants to do business in North Shore.

If Lane were to get business from someone in North Shore on a subject that is outside the boundaries of North Shore than no problem.

What if Lane were to be representing someone in North Shore about an issue that some people in North Shore have a concern about? An issue right here in North Shore. Lane would not be able to tell anyone about the potential concern.
If Steve Lange or Greg Burton had a similar conflict they would not be able to tell anyone either.

Regardless of your feelings about Steve Lange, this potiential for problem still exists and could happen again next week, next month.

I am not reffering to just the Presidents. I think all Board Members should not do business in North Shore. At least while they are in office.

After saying that, I will also say that I think you are right. This proposal will make it a little more difficult to get some people on the Board. Steve Lange is a good example of a person that may choose not to be a board member in the future. That would be his choice.

If you would give this idea a little more thought you would understand that most of us in North Shore are not involved with a business that would affect our Neighborhood.

Those that do, can simply decide to refrain from doing business in North Shore while they are in office. Just like, no one is going to seriously profit from North Shore, they are not going to go bust by not doing business in the neighborhood either.

This eliminates this potiential for conflict.

Your comment about the Board Members as a group serves no constructive purpose.

So, let me get this right. You are stating that if a doctor lives in Northshore, they cannot serve on the board and continue treating patients that live in Northshore for the entire year they serve on the board. Do you see something wrong with this picture? It's hard enough to find people that will serve on the board. Now you are really looking for a needle in a haystack. Jc, you are showing your ignorance once again.
