For one very good reason Alice....

The President-Elect of this organization first claims the newsletter is a volunteer production, then even with much prompting she does not admit the truth and avoids the question even though she continues to post more and more unrelated information on this site.
Another non-board memeber finally admits (with some incorrect background infromation)it is NOW a paid effort.

Our new board should be more open and honest!

Frank...
It is award winning ...and a very good product but...

A quick call to the printer confirmed they have only provided minimal ad layout and only ''as required'' for years. They typically print ''camera-ready'' art provdided by the advertiser, using the NSNA representative as a go between only.

Frank, didn't both former editors provide complete computer generated layouts for PRINTNG only, with only very minimal additional layout needed?

So, again....
-how much is this new ''service'' costing?
-when was it approved?
-and why?

Frank, no offense but you are not a member of the board and cannot take the responsibilty off the board in attemping to answer this question.

Susan...Carl....any BOARD MEMBER Please provide answers.

Trouble

There are no inquiring minds here. It is abundabtly clear that the same, very small faction of North Shore residents, having resigned their positions, are NOT resigning their compulsive need to stir up trouble.

Criticism of those who work daily for the betterment of the neighborhood serves no constructive purpose. The attempt to intimidate with false accuations, snide comments, and insinuation has become boring and merely reflects the insecurity of those who have chosen to no longer participate in the process.

I would urge all board members, present and future, to ignore such destructive tactics and refuse to reply to such transparent or overt attacks on this site. The proper forum for detailed discussion is at board or general membership meetings.
