Why is it that every time I read one of these it sounds like Jackie or Gemma. Oh well!

So let me get this straight. Its O.K. to sneak around, plan and plot against folks like Joyce Frey and myself, act as a de facto board, gang up as you did, write letters dropped off on people's front porches in the dead of night charging them with all sorts of silliness, go down several times to city hall to check the public records on certain individuals (like me ----and secrectly I might add), etc., etc. but not alright to simply report it.

Am I missing something here?

You're the ones who are acting as if you were the ones kicked out with your name calling.

If simply reporting how people voted in a public meeting in which each individual had to raise and hold their hand up high so that it could be counted is offensive to you then thats your problem.

Someone else wrote in recently and stated that it was undemocractic to publish the results of a publicly held vote. Huh!!!!! I bet the St. Pete Times would disagree with you. Freedom of the press and all of that! Besides, I thought democracy is what happens before and during a vote!!!!! Not in reporting the election results afterwards!!!!!

Besides, why should anyone care in a public vote what anyone else thinks of the way they are voting. It is after all their opinion. If they do not want others to know how they vote, then they should not vote (in a public vote forum).

Remember, in North Shore, with the exception of election of board members in January of each year, we conduct public votes on everything else. And so does each of its committees. Its been this way for 26 years in North Shore.

So, I ask you, is it the act that is despicable or merely the reporting of it????
