For anyone interested in this topic, we need to revive our own neighborhood's Beautification Committee, with an initial focus of re-assessing landscaping needs for the neighborhood's monument areas and traffic islands.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Volunteers needed for the City of St. Petersburg City Beautiful Commission. The mission of this 15 member board is to promote beautification in the City of St. Petersburg. Meetings are the second Monday of each month at 3 pm in City Hall. Projects include the Annual Beautification Awards, Palm Arboretum and the Gift Tree Program. Meetings are open to prospective members and the public.
