Since we received no news in our last (July) newsletter, I will try to provide some here.
Many of you have asked me who was it that voted me out as President of North Shore on July 3rd at the specially called board meeting held at Westminister Presbyterian Church at 7:00 P. M. Well I will tell you.
Will Goetz
Carl Luvgren
Jim O'Donnell
Cynthia Serra
Arlene Bartley
and the very famous tie breaker:
Greg Burton
The five board members who voted to keep me on as President were:
Kate Hawk
Lane Lastinger
Susan Ribillot
Tom Hennesey
Steven Lange
Yes, it was a five to five tie vote until acting president Greg Burton broke the tie by voting me out. He then followed up his vote by stating how sad he was and how hard it was for him to vote me out.
In his pre-vote statement while looking me directly in the eye, he said, Steve, after listening to you threaten this board with all those signatures that you intend to use to call a Special General Membership meeting to bring all this up again you have made it very clear on how I have to vote, blah blah blah, etc. etc. etc.
You all get the point. He was real sad!!!
Well Greg broke the tie which sent me packing. But Greg, the signatures are real, not a threat. What I said at the meeting was the truth, a promise and an upcoming event. You may count on it.
