I was very disturbed to read in Jon Wilson?’s article this morning that CVS was the reason for Mr.Lange?’s removal from his position as President. That is not my understanding. I now realize that
for me to try and explain my actions through documentation from the public record would implythat the reason was somehow based on those documents. Therefore, I shall not do so.

In many ways the best explanation of how we got to this point can be found on the postings here on the internet. The interpretation of what I mean will undoubtedly vary dramatically depending
on the reader. What I can say is that prior to the June General Meeting a substantial number of the Board, myself included, were giving serious consideration to resigning. The motion
passed at that meeting was based on a state statute that empowers a board to remove an officer at any time with or without cause. I, at least, took the vote to be a request from the membership
that the present board stay intact and that the leadership be changed instead. Removing someone from an officer position does not remove that person from the board. It is simply a statement that a majority believes that things are not working out and that a change is needed. The board is
charged with the operation of the organization, not individual officers.

My hope was that in so doing there would be a cooling off period and that we could move beyond the divisions which arose over the CVS issue. I always intended to let the membership
determine who is the President-Elect. Given the personalities involved, my own included, I was very naive in my thinking. Sadly, the neighborhood now is divided into the Lange camp and the
Burton camp. The irony is that the last thing I ever wanted was to be president. I was hoping to
minimize the internal division in the neighborhood, not increase it.

A majority of the membership can remove members of the board. I assume that is what Mr. Lange has in mind. With the board having decided to let the membership decide the
President-Elect issue and elections so close, I regret that the membership will have to go through what will be a very divisive meeting. I do believe that every person who feels passionately about this issue believes that he or she is acting in the best interests of the neighborhood. I have
decided not to try and influence what happens henceforth. To do so would only increase theinternal division of the neighborhood which is our home. My ego is not in this job. For however
long I continue to serve, I shall do my best to keep the neighborhood functioning and to see that the next administration takes over in an orderly way. And then take a long break.

Yes there is ...and you know it!

Those of us that have been watching and listening carefully know that Mr. Lange was not removed solely on his CVS position. This issue was just a tool to eliminate what the ''Burton'' camp saw as a problem.

Exactly how have you served the neighborhood prior to your swift rise to ''power''?

You have been used in a way by several 'ol timers to revenge old wounds such as being kicked off the board due to lack of performance!

Perhaps if ''some'' members of the board had resigned in June it would have made way for more positive individuals to serve...but to quote you directly ''she'll never be on this board while I'm here!!!''

Just wait Mr. Greg, this board will not stand the test of scrutiny or time!

You sure aren't very obervant. Burton has done more than his share in the last two years. No Lang wasn't removed solely on his Cvs stand and deception but he could have been.
He was not honest with the board at the board meeting and they were too weak to follow through then. So the membership gets a full dose of his behavior at the june membership meeting. behavior that some of us have put with for years and find embarrassing to the association and comp;letely unacceptable. It's real simple, Lange should not be speaking for the association.
As for the Lange conspiracy theory well he gives credit where credit is not due. Ther was no conspiracy, just disappointment, shock and disgust.
