This web site continues to grow in numbers and interest. Glad to know that people are trying to find out the news in North Shore, by one means or another.
Overall, the Web Site Hits Report has set new records in participation this month. Almost in all categories, except of coarse, the newsletter category.
The committee of 23, er 25, er 26 is now up to 28. And this is just the core committee. We have'nt even asked for folks to volunteer to walk yet.
Soooooo, from now on you can call us the Committee of 28, unless of coarse I get more people calling in to me. I guess then I'll have to change the name again and then re-post it here again. Maybe its time to call this committee just The Committee. Sounds good to me. Let me know what you all think? O. K.
I wrote Susan R. a nice note about my sharing what I know about the North Shore landscaping with her. Have'nt heard a word from her. Is she out of town again? Surely, I would have heard from her by now?
By the way, I saw all of that landscaping interest posted here a couple of weeks ago. But the weeds are still there! Is this new interest group planning anything soon? If so could you let the rest of us know?
I am trying to get some new information on the Fourth Street Beautification Committee. When I get some information I will share it with you all. Right now things seem to be bogged down between new roadway improvements that the city wants to add to the overall scope of the work and it has been complicated by the right of way ownership. Seems that the D. O. T. does not have full control to improve all parts of the existing right of way and that this is causing a hold up. Until the D. O. T. has legal control of all areas it can not plant trees, etc. Will keep you posted.
