Momentum

The Committee of 25 is picking up mementum. The letter to call the Special General Membership meeting has been written and signed by approximately fifteen people. The information letter which will be handed out to the membership as we collect signatures has also been written along with the petition form. Both the petition form and the letter calling for the Special General Membership meeting have identical language.

The room at the First Presbyterian church has been reserved. The meeting is Scheduled for October 10th at 7:00 P. M. Money is being collected to defray the cost of the room and for our printing. Four more people called me today to join our ranks. Later tonight, if I have time, I will rewrite a letter I received from a supporter. It is quite a letter.

I think, as I do these things, that North Shore is in for a shock. I think that the small group that has snuck its way into control is in for a shock.

If all goes as I think it will, and we receive the vote we seek, Phase Two of our efforts will then be set into motion. To see what Phase Two is all about, you must come and vote with us and then stick around and continue living in North Shore. Only then will you see what will come next. Because the meeting set for October 10th is not the end. It is just the beginning. We will have more corrective work to do. After the vote, we will reorganize, set new goals and set about putting them into effect. More later.

Mo

Mo went out with the bathwater tonight- right down the drain. Again the membership demanded an open and honest meeting in October, not some orchestrated series of motions.
