I just returned home from the sneak preview of the First Annual Old Northeast Garden Stroll...secret gardens, private places, magical spaces! Join us tomorrow, Saturday, May 5, 10:00 am to 3:00 p.m., and tour 7 beautiful gardens in our neighborhood--pergolas, fountains, koi ponds, roses, tropical ginger, fragrant jasmine, bromeliads, herb gardens, a Japanese garden!! In addition, tour Sunken Gardens, which is included in the admission price for the Stroll! Tours of the Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum are included, too.
Tickets are on sale tomorrow beginning at 10:00 am at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 126 11th Avenue N.E., $10.00 each. Proceeds benefit the Sunken Gardens summer youth program and the NSNA.
Absolutely great

This tour was absolutely great. Each garden was different and what surprises are found beind these homes! We got a lot of ideas for different plantings, special garden ornaments, and even drip irrigation,
Thanks for a great experience.

Please congratulate and thank...

Please congratulate and thank Steve Deal and Jane Phair, co-chairs for this event, for an excellent event!! Many hours of committee meetings, planning, organizing, encouraging homeowners to volunteer their gardens, building community support, soliciting sponsors and advertising, promoting the tour and a myriad of other tasks went into making this first and now annual event a success.
