It is with regret that the Board accepts Frank's resignation from the position President Elect. Frank accepted a new position with his employer that will prevent him from participating. Therefore, nominations for the position will be accepted from the floor at the July 16 membership meeting, candidatess will speak, and the vote will be taken. The Board felt that since the President Elect will serve as President in 2002, the membershipshould fill this vacancy rather than the Board.

Candidates Known ?

A real shame that Frank Hay will be unable to serve but very unselfish of him to look ahead and resign now so that a new pres elect can have six months to prepare. Congrats to the board for taking this to membership instead of just appointing someone- a continuing indication of this new openess in the association process. Question though- who is going to run for the position and will some info be posted on this site about the candidates? Too bad Susan can't preside another year because she seems to be very diligent and has made good contacts and good relationships and respect with city officials and other neighborhood leaders.
