There is currently a rash of burglaries from garages in the North Shore area. Most of the garages have been unlocked and the burglaries are believed to be taking place in the middle of the night. Most of the reported stolen items have been bicycles, and sometimes the thief (thieves) are leaving behind older bicycles. The area of primary concern is from 6th to 22nd Avenues North/NE, east of First Street.
