Join or renew your membership before April 1 and save $5!

The Board decided to raise annual dues from $15 to $20 effective April 1. Renew before then and save $5. And many people renew for more than one year.

The decision was based on several reasons, most notably to fund an increase in annual liability insurance cost by $1,000 and to offset increased postage rates and costs. HONNA now sends approximately 15 mail pieces per year to each member household. (Meeting schedule postcards + Dues reminders + Newsletters)

Also, the Board is considering a significant upgrade to the landscaping around neighborhood monuments and traffic islands. Considering the decrepit state of much of that landscaping, any improvement could be considered significant! If you have ideas about improvements, PLEASE drop me a line. joc33701@mindspring.com.

P.S. Renewing extends membership

Just to be clear that you can renew at anytime no matter when your current membership expires.

I handle the membership database and when a dues payment arrives and if the membership is still active, I simply tack on another 12 months to the expiration date.

For example, some people pay a month or two early and I simply extend their membership by 12 more months from their already-future expiration date.
