I have reason to believe (1st hand knowlege) that the City is pressuring Kenwood (through our board) to allow and participate in drug marches in our neighborhood. Most recently, we weren't even asked. It was just scheduled.
Since our Chief of Police and our Mayor have openely stated that drugs are a city-wide problems (in response to criticism that the drug marches were targeted at black communities), I was wondering.....has the City approached North Shore about having drug marches? I suspect no.
I feel that we are being used, and giving the image to the public/media that we have a serious drug problem. This is potentally harmful to our property values, and the general state of mind of our residents.
