Apology from a Board member

Posted in: Historic Old Northeast
I would like to take this opportunity as a member of the Board of North Shore to offer my apology to the membership for the way the CVS rezoning issue has been handled. I am deeply saddened that ten percent of the neighborhood had to sign petitions for the Board to do what it should have done and call a special meeting to thoroughly discuss this issue. There have been divisive issues come before the membership in the past, but never do I recall seeing yard signs before this! A special meeting open to all residents and property owners, not just the membership, has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th at 6:30 Pm at the Sunshine Center. Notice will be mailed to the members the first of next week.

Thank You

Thank you for your apology to the members. It is accepted with the sincerity in which it was given and the gratitude that now everyone will have the chance to speak on the issue.

I hope that the other board members share your frankness.
Thank you

Please excuse that I have not the courage to identify myself puablicly, as you have done in your apology.

Thank you for being so forthcoming. It is refreshing and it is my sincere hope that it shall lead to more board members coming forth in such a manner.

Correction re:special meeting

A typo, Greg--the special meeting is June 13. Thanks for the apology and the notification and your work on behalf of the membership and residents of North Shore. Susan
