I've never been much of a joiner, but I would be more than happy to help in any way to help get a city-sponsored dog park for Coquina Key. I think it is a wonderful idea whose time has come.

Dog Park

I'm in favor of the park too but there is significant opposition. You should plan to attend the meeting where the City will present the plan and we will vote on it. The more folks we get at this meeeting, the better our chances.

Proposed Dog Park

I am also in favor of the park and I am heading the Dog Park Committee. I have contacted the city to find out where they are on the design of the park. I hope to hear from them real soon. When we do get a design, the Dog Park Committee will meet to make sure it is acceptable. If you or anyone else is interested please email me with a phone number and I will contact you when we schedule this meeting. As Bill Adams has stated in he's rely, there is significant opposition so we need to get as many supporters as possible at these meetings.

Vote Yes! Tuesday

The will be an important vote taken on the Proposed Dog Park at the Coquina Key Neighborhood Association Meeting on Tuesday November 28th. The city will give a short presentation on the Proposed Dog Park and a vote will be taken. The vote is open to all residents of the Island not just Association Members. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
