I receive a phone call from my wife (stay at home mom) this afternoon telling me that a bomb had gone off near our home. At the point she called me she had already calmed down and the police were on scene. Apparently someone or a group of someones detonated 2 pipe type bombs off in the storm drain in the open space next to my home on S. Allison Way. This is very disturbing to me. I used to be in Law Enforcement I left to get away from this type of thing. What is our community coming to and why is this happening. We need to be diligent and report suspicious activity. I feel what has happened today may be a step to something larger. Parents talk to your children make sure they are ok. Let us all do our part in preventing this situation again. Someone could have been killed our seriously injured. There is no excuse for this type of action.
