Maintain Your Entire Lot/Property

As you drive through your neighborhood, what do you see? Do you notice just the houses or does your
eyes focus on the landscaping too? There are many of us who are not maintaining their entire property by
leaving areas which you can not see full of weeds and debris. This is unacceptable to the people who have
to look at it from where they live.

Many people choose to landscape their parkways (the space between the sidewalk and the curb) with
only rock. That is fine, but don?’t forget that weeds can still grow up through the rock. If your fence seems
to hide this area from your view, it doesn?’t from the rest of us.

If you have constant problems with unsightly weeds in your area and your neighbors just don?’t seem to
pull them, perhaps you should notify Code Enforcement of the eyesore. They will come out an assess the
problem and talk to the homeowner. If they can back again and the problem has not been corrected they
may just fine the homeowner.

There always seems to be a lot of young kids in the neighborhood without anything to do, hire one of
them to pull weeds if you don?’t have the time or energy.
