What is Metex?
Metex is aproximately 20% of your property tax (take a look at your homeowner tax statement) applied toward funding Powers Blvd. construction from Woodmen to Platte. Metex taxpayers represent approximately 5% of Powers users; However, we pay 100 % of the Powers bill. If you want to learn more about this issue and your options, attend the next Metex meeting scheduled for Sep 21 at 7PM at Remington Elementary School. If you are comfortable paying hundreds of your tax dollars toward this cause, don?’t get involved.
