We will have a speaker from Sky Sox to discuss the upcoming season.

Then we need to discuss who is willing to be President.

Determine meeting frequency bimonthly bi annually.

Treasury Report:
Attendance: 19 + board
Table new membership dues until next meeting.

Note:
Moe Introduced the board asked for New Ideas and suggestions for improvements and presented the background for the association.

Rosemary explained that the North/South East intersection of Powers and Barnes was going to have a new turn lane for east bound cars. Construction was going to start 10 days from now and go from April until July. Rosemary also explained that there will be additional shopping in the large excavated lots east of powers at Barnes. There will be a new Old Chicago’s, Bank, Rock Bottom, furniture store and tile store. It will depend on the retail anchor.

Meeting was open for questions from many of the new attendees

Questions
1. What is our mission? Provide information, names and contacts for the Stetson Hills neighborhood.
2. Who controls the covenants? The board elected to run by each sub association.
3. What are the limits of Stetson Hills? Tutt, Marksheffel, Stetson Hills blvd and ½ way to Carefree
4. What is a SIMD? Special improvement maintenance district. Volunteer board with Parks and Rec. Maintains the medians trees and sprinklers. Work is done by a Denver company with a 24hr response time. Cost 5 mills.
5. When is the 20 acres on Kettledrum going to be a park? 5 year back log need money for park maintenance.
6. New police station meetings. See Officer Pratt at the Stetson Hill Division.
7. Can we empower covenants enforcement? No.
8. What enforcement do we have? In general it is left to the city wide code enforcement to enforce city code.
9. Code enforcement office Ken Gallegos
10. What about violations of city code? Call code enforcement or talk to your neighbor or let us know we can help.
11. Is there a way to publicize the city code? Don’t know
12. How many fliers do we need? 3000 homes in the Stetson Hills area
13. What is the return on our invested time? Better neighborhood
14. Who is responsible for calling code enforcement? Concerned neighbors.
15. Who created the association? The builders in Stetson Hills

Other suggestions:
1. Compile a list of 30 codes and announce them.
2. Item for Secretary Call the Warren Management Group to see what can be done in our situation. 534-0266 Bob or Linda Warren.
Result: Notified us that our non-profit status has expired with the Colorado Secretary of state. There needs to be a letter of incorporation, by laws.

Elect a new President April 26 2005.
Don’t disband the SHNA.

Next meeting will be in two weeks April 26, 2005 at the Schools.
