Flooded Streets of Stock Island

There are many streets of Stock Island that become flooded after only a small amount of rain. What will happen after a tropical storm? We will need row boats to get around. On Thursday July 26, two members of S.I.B.H.A. along with Commissioner Dixie Spehar spent two hours driving around Stock Island looking at the flooded streets following about an inch of rain that fell on Wednesday Night & Thursday morning. Will something be done? Not until the residents complain. Call your commissioners and ask them to get Public Works for Monroe County to try and correct this situation.
