Stonecreek News Neighborhood of The Year!!

Stonecreek Homeowner?’s Association, Gilbert, AZ 85234 ☺ Monthly Newsletter ☺ May 2004

DIRECTOR?’S CORNER
Annual Meeting
The Annual HOA Meeting will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at the Freestone Recreation Center from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Your attendance at the meeting is very important. (1141 E Guadalupe).

Ice Cream Social
Again the Association will be hosting the Annual ice-cream Social Saturday, May 8, 2004. There will be a bouncing gym for the kids, face painting for all, a DJ so you can get your groove on, and of course lots of Ice Cream. We look forward to seeing all of the residents of Stonecreek HOA at this fun annual event.

Swimming Pool
Well, it is that time of year again when the swimming pool has been opened - and within the first five days we had vandalism. Individual(s) had pulled tiles off the pool.

As a note to the residents of Stonecreek HOA: The Board of Director's and Borg Property Services never want to close the pool due to vandalism, but we are obliged to obey the health codes set forth by Maricopa County Health Department. To avoid closure of the pool, please don't allow individuals to abuse the swimming pool or surrounding area.

Should the swimming pool be closed, it is not a reason for after hour telephone calls. This is not considered an emergency. A message will be posted on Borg Property Services voice message informing residents of the date that the pool will reopen. LET'S ALL HAVE A GREAT SUMMER AND KEEP THE POOL OPEN!

HOA Playgroup
The Stonecreek HOA Playgroup has stopped meeting as of May until further notice. Every summer the group takes a break due to the heat. If you are interested in joining the group when they begin meeting again, keep an eye out for the notice in the newsletter.

Uncontained Trash - New Fines
NOTICE - The Town of Gilbert will now be involved with the Uncontained trash problem in Stonecreek HOA. Any Uncontained trash left out on a non pick up week will be picked up by the Town of Gilbert. The charge for this service will be passed along to the homeowner, along with a fine from the Association. Stonecreek HOA has gone above and beyond to help residents understand the dates of Uncontained trash pick-up.

PLEASE PLACE YOUR UNCONTAINED TRASH ON THE FRONT OF YOUR PROPERTY ONLY ON THE APPROPRIATE WEEK OF PICKUP!

Note RE: Uncontained trash:
You may set your Uncontained trash out during the scheduled pickup week only. Uncontained trash put out any other time than this is subject to a fine by both the Town of Gilbert and the HOA. Help out ?— if you see a neighbor putting Uncontained trash out during the wrong time period, please (politely) let them know.

Note RE: Read Rules of HOA
It seems some homeowners feel they are being singled out for various violations and that Nancy has nothing better to do than to drive around looking for violations. Nancy would like nothing better than to not have to deal with these problems. It just so happens she is doing the job we homeowners are paying her to do so that we don?’t have to worry about having homes in our neighborhood becoming an eyesore. If you are being fined, take time to read the CC&R?’s. If you follow the rules, you won?’t have anything to worry about.

CONTRACTS AWARDED
Tree Doctors - Crown, thin and remove selected trees throughout the HOA property.

CKD Construction - repair fencing around the tennis courts.
