DIRECTOR?’S CORNER
As many residents know, the swimming pool was closed recently. The fiberglass in the pool was separating from the cement and posed a safety hazard to swimmers. The last thing that the Board of Directors and Borg Property Services wants to do is close the pool for any reason, but when it is considered hazardous to the health and safety of swimmers there is no other choice. Due to the fact that the swimming pool has a lifetime warranty on the fiberglass, it is only possible to have Shasta Pools and their certified tile companies make the necessary repairs. As you may guess at this time of year, Shasta Pools is very busy, so there is time involved in scheduling the various companies to come out and repair the pool. Borg Property Services and the Board of Directors will always work diligently to reopen the pool in the most timely manner, which doesn't seem that quick when it is 110 degrees outside!

While the discussion of the pool is on our minds, we would like to remind the residents who enjoy the swimming pool to follow the posted pool rules. The rules note the number of guests allowed at the pool and the conduct of those persons enjoying the pool. Please note that our fine schedule does allow for fines of up to $500.00 for those who do not follow the rules of the pool area. This will be strictly enforced this summer. Please remember that the Stonecreek HOA pool is for the resident's of Stonecreek and not the Town of Gilbert, as many homeowners have come to believe, with the numerous guests that they bring.

Finally, the Board of Director?’s would like to wish all the owners and residents of Stonecreek HOA a very happy and safe Fourth of July holiday.

HELP PREVENT MOSQUITOS
You can help reduce the risk of mosquitos by removing their breeding grounds. (Holes in trees, old tires, buckets, toys, potted plant trays and saucers, bird baths, fountains, etc. - anything that hold stale water.)

Stonecreek HOA has taken steps to prevent mosquitos from breeding in the common areas with the monthly spreading of pesticides in ponding areas.
