DIRECTOR?’S CORNER
NEW *RENTAL* PROPERTY GUIDELINES IN EFFECT!
We now have new guidelines for rental properties in Stonecreek HOA. If you currently have a property in Stonecreek HOA that is a rental, please contact Borg Property Services for further information about these new guidelines. (Also see inserts) The policy that is now in effect has been reviewed by the Attorney for Stonecreek HOA and approved by the Board of Director?’s in a unanimous vote. The purpose of the rental policy is to protect the property values in Stonecreek HOA.

NEW VIOLATION/FINE SCHEDULE NOW IN EFFECT!
The Board of Director?’s has also made a change to the Violation/Fine Schedule. Boats, recreational vehicles, trailers etc. will now only be given three (3) days to be removed before a fine of $50.00 to $75.00 (or up to $250.00 for multiple violations) is assessed against a property. Please follow the rules and regulations of Stonecreek HOA. These rules are in place to protect your property values!

SCHOOL STARTS SOON
Please remember that school will be starting in the middle of August. We would like to remind everyone to obey the speed limits throughout the neighborhood and to watch for children when they are on their way to and from school.

ACC APPROVES PLACEMENT OF FLAG PLACEMENT
The Association would like to encourage all homeowners to display the Flag of the United States of America and the State of Arizona on their property. The ACC has approved the placement of flag poles in the front yard. According to the CC&R?’s of Stonecreek HOA, the only flags that are to be flown on the flag pole are those of the United States of America and the State of Arizona. Show your patriotism and fly our flags proudly and properly.

NEED REPAIRS?
Protect yourself against unscrupulous contractors. Even if a contractor shows you a license, confirm that the license is valid and that it belongs to the person that showed it to you. 602-542-1525, 1-888-271-9286 or

RECEIVE ANY WELLS FARGO
E-MAILS?
Unless you are expecting one, the course of action is to delete it - as with most e-mails that you don?’t recognize. The current one tells you that your credit application has been denied and your social security number etc. is in the attachment. THE ATTACHMENT CONTAINS A VIRUS. Compute prudently.

BLOCK WATCH ANYONE?
Help keep our community safe. Ann Miller, a Stonecreek resident, would like to help existing block watch programs and to organize block watch programs in neighborhoods where there is no program or where it is no longer active.

Volunteers, current block watch captains and interested homeowners are asked to contact Ann at 480-217-1651 or annmiller@cbsuccess.com

DOES YOUR FLAG SHOW RESPECT?
If your flag is worn out (holes, weather beaten, etc.), then it is disrespectful to display it. The proper way to dispose of a worn out flag is to fold it properly and have it burned by an authorized agency. In Gilbert, one of those agencies is the American Legion Post in downtown Gilbert. (206 N. Gilbert Rd., 480-892-7038). They accept flags all year. (See how to fold a flag next month.)
