International Students Need YOU!

High School Students from 15 Countries Coming to Gilbert in 2008

Have you always wanted to travel abroad? Are you interested in other cultures or languages? Are you proud to be an American? Do you want to share what you have with others? Do you long to make a difference in the world??? Then consider hosting an international exchange studnet!

Just the Facts:

Your exchange student will be:
• Fluent in English
• Highly screened and interviewed
• Attend your local high school
• Stay for a semester or full school year
• Have all their own spending money
• Have full insurance


As the Volunteer Host family you will:
• Provide a bed for your student (sharing room with
A sibling of the same sex / similar age OK)
• Provide in-home meals ( i.e. cereal for breakfast and an extra plate at dinner)
• Earn a tax deduction for your expenses
• Guide your new son or daughter as they discover our culture
• Treat them as a member of the family, not a guest
• Be able to truly impact the world...one child at a time!
