We know that when the children come home form school they are full of energy from sitting in classrooms all day. We all want them to have fun and enjoy the fact that they can play outside most of the time here in Arizona. However, the streets are not playgrounds and we are noticing some disturbing and dangerous activities. At no time should ramps for jumping bikes, skates or skateboards be placed in the streets.
We have seen an influx of traffic into the neighborhood with the addition of the new Wal-Mart and now Strip Mall. It is difficult enough for drivers to avoid all the cars parked in the streets. We have a huge common area and a playground for such activities. Please lets all do our part to make our streets safe.
Children have also been reported engaging in rock and dirt battles in the streets. This is not only dangerous it is disrespectful of the homeowners whose landscaping is being used for ammunition.
