I just wanted to make the community aware that there has been some unwelcome mischief going on in backyards.  We had our birdhouse on a post pushed over, and someone tried to open our shed as well the back gate was left ajar. Another neighbor had some things done as well.  Please be aware and make sure your sheds are locked and be on the look out for unwelcome persons. I believe if they had the chance or opportunity, they would have done more than what they did.  We have since taken extra percautions to deter any further opportunities. Hoping this post will help others as well.

I hope you called the New Castle County police department to report this.  If this happens to other neighbors and they call they could link the incidents together.  Not to mention if they catch the persons doing this -- even from another neighbors misfortune -- they may be able to link those individual(s) to your incident as well.  Please do us all a favor and report things like this!!
