Duties & Responsibilities

To act as a liaison between your block and your central data headquarters, which is our Citizens On Patrol Committee, headed by Carl Johnson. Your duty is to: Make contact with each neightbor in your block. Be cordial and let them know who you are
and that you would like to keep them informed on what is taking place in the community. This will be done by way of newsletters, flyers, and invites to our monthly community association meetings. Still, you would like to know their opinion as it relates to the community in general and the block in particular. Ask them if you can register them for their opinion and also as a community association member that will contribute 30.00 a year for the betterment of the community. Let them know they live in a community comprised of 707 homes worth other 148,470,000.00 and our responsibility is to safeguard and enhance the vaule of those homes in this community. We understand that everyone can not always make it to a meeting, however, we can do our part by contributing 30.00 or more to our community association. Every three(3)months our newsletter will display and place a gold star beside the names of those who are doing their part to safeguard and enhance the value of the Stoneybrook Community.

How Your 30.00 a year per family Helps

The 30.00 a year per family pays for the Stoneybrook Times Newsletter, the function of the SCA which includes the Citizens On Patrol Committee, Beautification Committee, Helping Hands Committee, Home Ownership Education Committee, Event Planning Committee, Youth & Afterschool Committee, Flyers, Stationary, the list goes on, we are determined to develop and maintain a beautiful, safe and stable community. To accomplish the above we will need human and financial resources.

Keep residents(homeowners)on your block updated on new crime prevention strategies. Invite residents throughout the year to join the Citizens On Patrol Committee. To keep records of all abandon vehicles, also homes needing serious repair, street lights that are not working, and incidents of gang activity. Reach out to special populations including senior citizens, deaf and hard of hearing residents, those with Limited English Proficiency (LEP), the physically challenged and other people that may need additional assistance.
