Strawberry Farms neighbors Sandy Trzcinski and Tom Nann were honored on Friday, February 25 at the annual Northland Community Council volunteer awards banquet. Sandy and Tom were nominated thanks to countless volunteer hours and efforts devoted to improving life in Strawberry Farms. Sandy assisted former social chairman Linda Hatmacher numerous times in the past in staging a slew of social events, from summer parties to Santa visits and Easter egg hunts. Residents such as Sandy are a real treasure and we are so grateful she gave her time and talents to our neighborhood. Tom, former SFCA president, has served the neighborhood in a number of capacities and never turned his back on any work that would help make the neighborhood a better place to live. Thanks to both of you from the bottom of our hearts! In addition, Mike Liston, new VP of neighborhood beautification, accepted the NCC's 2004 Beautification Award for our Rt.161 entrance.
