I want to comment on the lack of information given to the residents of Strawberry Farms. We used to get wonderful newsletters every so often. Now, I see that they are on-line, which is not a bad idea, but they only have one brief story. Surely more is happening in the neighborhood, like when is the garage sale? I doubt I will be able to participate since it is usually in May and time is slipping away. People are making plans and I have talked to several neighbors who said that they now have no weekends left in May. Why do you wait so long to decide a date? Can't we say, for instance, it will occur the first weekend in May and October every year? That way, we can make plans on the date.
Finally, in reference to all of the above, I am disappointed in the lack of communication so much, that I have decided not to renew my yearly membership fee, unless something changes. Why should I have to endlessly try to e-mail without a response (I second the other person who said they cannot get in contact with any of the elected officials...what is wrong with your e-mail addresses?), then give money for you to do what with? I love the park and landscaping efforts, but this is a two-way street. Also, I can't make it to 6:00pm meetings either. How can my voice be heard?
