Porch Lights ON.......Be Safe!

Your first line of home defense.....the porch light.

Take a drive through Suggs Park Neighborhood some evening after dark and see how many homes are lit up by their porch lights. Are there many? Are there a few? Are some streets totally dark?!

The Oklahoma City Police Department tells us that the first line a resident has for home defense of their home at night is their porch light. That's right.....a home that is lit will be passed by when the "bad guys" are out cruising in a neighborhood.

And....did you know that burning your porch light is really inexpensive? It is!! Reallllllly!!

So, turn on those porch lights! Light up those porches, driveways or yards. It's something that will help you and your neighbors!
