Liquor license renewals

All liquor licenses north of Burnside and within the Portland city limits will expire on December 31, 1999. The role of neighbors is very important in the licensing process. If you intend to oppose the renewal of any specific liquor outlets in your area because of liquor related problems, please advise Mike Sanderson of the City's Bureau of Licenses at 823﷓5139. If you have concerns regarding any liquor location (litter, noise, etc.) but are not formally asking for a Council hearing to oppose the outlet's renewal, bring these issues to the Bureau's attention so that they can work with the licensees to resolve specific problems informally.
