Hi everyone! Some of you remember relaxing Sunday evenings in our backyard while the kids played kickball. Well, Kickball Sunday has returned.....with a twist! We will be offering two activities....yard games for the kids and.......drum roll please..... A drumming circle for kids and adults! What is a drumming circle? A leader starts a simple rhythm and everyone joins with whatever percussion instruments they might have, such as congas, bongos, djembe, steel drums or an upside down pickle bucket. Kids can make a simple shaker by adding corn or beans to a plastic soda bottle. Bring a chair, a beverage, and a way to make some music. My address is 3315 Scioto Run.
