As I was raking the today, I came across 3 piles of dog poop in the middle of the yard. Please keep dogs fenced and leashed. If your dog poops in someone else's yard, please clean it up.

    I asked the board about this problem and here is their reply:

There are no fines for someone letting their dog poop in other people yards. It is not enforcible. If you continue to have a problem with one person contact the Greer City Police and see if they can do anything about it.

Which I agree that there really is nothing the board can do.  So short of seeing someone doing it and then giving them hell over.  There is not much we can do.

There is nothing worse then cleaning up poop out of your yard when you do not have any pets.
