The City of Atlanta rarely issues solicitation permits because they cost $500. Some solicitors may present a Fulton County permit but these are valid only in unincorporated Fulton County. Do not let them into your home for any reason ?– they may be setting you up and there may be accomplices out of your view. They may also be casing your home for a later burglary, or may steal something on their way out. Items sold in
this manner are usually stolen. Tell them to leave, call 911, and take a picture of them if safely possible.
