Summey Knoll

Halloween - 2010

When Halloween 2010 was scheduled this year for the city of Dallas, my understanding it was to be on Saturday. I'm curious as to why it is "up to the parents" as to when we Trick or Treat;...Saturday or Sunday...this means we have to give out candy 2 nights. I find this rather inconvenient for most people. Also, we will have the traffic jam for 2 nights with some folks taking advantage of the opportunity to Trick or Treat for 2 nights ! 

Also, being new to Summey Knoll...lived here for a year....I'm unsure who makes these decisions.  I, nor my neighbors, were polled as to our thoughts on this. Could this be a consideration for future events ? This is a wonderful neighborhood & we have enjoyed living in Dallas and certainly look forward to having some input with future events for Summey Knoll.....
