Thanks to all council for listening to our unusaual situation.

The request made today was directed to the Ethics Committee to help write policy, procedures ethical guidelines for the director of planning related to communicating in a timely manner in writing with a citizen(s) or volunteer(s). Particularly when it impacts a community in a negative manner.

Prompt communication could have prevented many misunderstandings, misinterpupatations that stimulated existing differences that came to the forefront unnecessarily.

This situation is not limited to any one council district. Therefore, our specific request is to the ethics committee.

After listening to Council Member Edwards statements today it appears that she was already aware of the situation and choose not to contact us in regards to having a balanced picture of our situation after she received a current communication form the executive board.

If the two basic questions are answered then we need only to find out why Mr. Litke refused to provide us with the information in a timely manner and then craft a policy that will prevent this from occurring in the future.

I want to be extremely clear in our request that referees this matter to the Ethics Committee which Council Member Edwards is a member.
