This discussion provides one place where to advertise for specific types of volunteer help needed to support the activities of SGN.

If you are interested in volunteering to any of specific requests (see repys below), please reply to the request in which you are interested or e-mail or call SGNA letting us know you want to volunteer.

Newsletter Distribution

We need people willing to volunteer between 30 minutes and an hour to help distribute the paper version of the SGNA Newsletter.

The newsletter will be ready for distribution on Sunday, October 7th, so volunteers who have time anytime between Sunday 10/7 and Wednesday 10/10 are asked to help.

Copies of the newsletter will be dropped off at your home and a portion of the block assigned based on the time you have available.

Babysitters for Meetings

We are looking for babysitters who would be willing to help look after the children during the neigborhood meeting. We are looking into using a separate room in the same facility where we meet that would allow the children to play while the adults are meeting.

Web Content Providers

We are looking for volunteers to provide content for the neighborhood web page.

Currently we are lacking information on schools in the area and there is potential for additional information for parents in the neighborhood.

You do not need to have any web skills and the time committment is up to you. We are always looking for valuable content for the SGNA web page.
