Hello. I wanted to discuss safety in our neighborhoods. Recently, we had a man run over by his "uncle", a break-in, and a man arrested for being a University of Arizona rapist just in our vicinity - probably in a square acre. This was within the past 1.5 months. Perhaps we can discuss what we can do as residents to help with safety in our neighborhoods.
I'll start:
1. Be sure to lock up your vehicles at night.
2. Turn on lights.
3. Utilize 9-1-1!
4. Write down plates of suspicious vehicles, as well as the vehicle's description. Provide it to police when you see them.
5. GET SPEED HUMPS! I noticed a HUGE decrease in the amount of traffic and the speed of traffic. All but two wanted them!
