There have been numerous times that I have walked my child to school by way of Lamberton terrace. Leaving the culdisac sidewalk and walking towards the sidewalk in Heritage is almost like the FW mud run. I have seen numerous children on bikes heading both North and South through this area, so a connecting sidewalk would help the children going to Timberview Middle and the children going to Bette Perot Elemetary. This would allow the kids to not have mud on their shoes and all over their backs from riding bikes. I have contacted Mario Rocha(N. parks supervisor) and Jerry McDow(Parks Superintendent with the City of FW parks) regarding this issue. They requested that I take pictures and send them for review. If anyone can help or have any info. regarding this issue, please send a response.
I have also asked about the City of FW parks if they would reconsider the offer they made to Sunset Hills regarding a playground. They informed me that they did offer Sunset Hills $5,000.00 toward the purchase of a playground, if Sunset Hills HOA would match the offer. Sunset Hills did not act, so the offer expired. If anyone (HOA Rep./Homeowners) has any information on either of these issues, please respond. Thank you.
