golf carts

Well it is to late to debate the golf carts. Many feel there were more cost effective ways to go about the tasks they want to use the carts for. As for additional projects.. I agree there should be no more. But we should atleast improve our existing amenities. We all have bakyards and there building a 5 acre park near by maybe we don't need a better playground. It would be nice though to see atleast some shading around the existing playground. It would make it more safe for the children and make it useable during the heat. Personally we don't use the playground but it should be there. I don't think anyone is asking for a amusement park just improvements.

Paul you need to explore wptc more carefully. There is playground equipment in many of the green areas. The equipment is small and in ill repair. It sounds like you do not have any children and strict CCR's are important to you, you should have moved to Coyote Lakes or Sun City Grand. You will be greatly disappointed with the enforcement of the CCR's at West Point. We have lived in West point for almost 4 years and the CCR's have NEVER been enforced. I received a letter because my garbage can was out an extra day, but my neighbor parks his 18 wheeler in front of his house everytime he comes home. The bottom line is, the CCR's don't get enforced, playground equipment needs to be better, common areas need work. To achieve this we need a board that is more in touch with the residents needs. We didn't NEED $5000 golf carts. I think as residents of wptc we need to question and hold accountable the people we trust to spend $ 544,000 of OUR money a year. We are going to spend $ 65,000 a year for Management Fees?? From what I have read and the correspondence I have had with this association I don't feel comfortable letting them spend $54 of our money, but that is only my opinion. Nothing will change until more people get involved and hold the board and Mgt company accountable. JUST MY OPINION, ANYBODY ELSE AGREE???

I agree. I'll do whatever I can from my computer and IF i ever find the time i will contribute in other ways as well.
We can always use some of the greens for public executions. J/K before everyone starts flaming again.
