HOUSEHOLD CHEMICAL AND ELECTRONICS COLLECTIONS

The City has Household Chemical and Electronics Collection Days twice a year on the last Saturday of April and October.

The next scheduled collection will be 4/26/08 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.\

Location: Department of Solid Waste
4010 West Spruce Street (behind main building?…enter from Clark Street)

Materials accepted include:
Paints and solvents
Used motor oil
Automotive products
Pool chemicals
Mercury containing devices, such as? fluorescent light bulbs & thermometers
Lawn, garden and household chemicals
Electronics, including computer monitors,? printers, CPU?’s, keyboards, and televisions
NO EXPLOSIVE, RADIOACTIVE OR BIO-MEDICAL WASTES ACCEPTED
? RESIDENTIAL Household Waste only.
