Sylvan Park

Hello, I recently saw a flyer on my street advertising this site. It is nice to know that there are people out there concerned about the well-being of the neighborhood. I thought I should mention that the crime statistics may not be up to date. On June 1, 2000 there were at least 2, and possibly more burglaries on Westlawn Place, off Westlawn Dr (right across from Produce Place off Murphy Road). Someone entered my residence and carried everything I own of value out the front door in broad daylight (~11 am). At least one of my neighbors were victimized as well. Both of these crimes were reported properly to Metro Police and are ongoing investigations, but are not listed on you crime report. I know its a long-shot, but if anyone has any information on this crime, please email me. All residents of the townhomes in this area should take safety precautions, as we are rather isolated from the main flow of neighborhood traffic.

I don't think these statistics are as accurate as they should be either. I don't know why or how your burglaries got omitted.

I hope others will post here if they also reported a Sylvan Park crime that wasn't listed.
