The City arborist has provided the list of trees for your property on your card.

There will be a list of approved nursery suppliers.

On the card is the contact person Peggy Campbell.

How much each household receives will depend on how many apply by January 31, 2009. The limited money available will be divided among them.

At the February City Commission meeting a report will be given and will be part of the public record.

You can find the Beautification Ordinance listed on this web site.

I recieved a report on somebody's trees, but they can't possibly be my trees.  The report contained a comment that I had room on the left side of my property for an additional tree.  That is impossible since the limbs on the trees I now have extend out over the neighboring property on BOTH sides of my property.

None of that information is on the card I received.  That is why I called the mayor to find out who to call.  He returned my call and left a number for me to call.  I did call that number and left a message, BUT I never received a return call.

Define "limited money available" please.

Additionally, is this a one-time shot only, an annual process, a renewable process, or what?

LIMITED MONEY AVAILABLE

Each year the city will put money in the beautification budget for this project.

This year there is $2,000 available and will be divided among those who apply equally.

The amount budgeted each year will depend on how each new budget works out. Currently there is more need than dollars budgeted so it will be a long trerm project.

Cool

Limited money is a concern I want the city to stay within its income so next years budget will reflect what ever that income is.
