The Gates is an art exhibit that has been installed along an extended path in Central Park.
The artists are a married couple - Jean Claude and Christo who paid the $21 million to put this up, as well as $3 million to the city of NY to cover expenses. This was their masterpiece.
Has anyone been to see the exhibit?
IMHO it looks like a metal horror and a foolish waste of all that money when we have so many people in NYC who don't have a roof over their head or food in their stomach.
