There have been several burglaries in the neighborhood recently. Today there were two. One on Perry near Indiana and one on Plymouth. Please keep your eyes open for suspicious activities and notify the police department if you see anything/anyone out of the ordinary.

Missing stuff too
I am at 1018 Peninsular. I too have recently had my outdoor shed broken into twice. I re-inforced the locks and the thief actually unscrewed bolts from the rear of the shed. Funny thing is that there is nothing left to take. My trimmer and blower were taken along with a bicycle. I am more concerned that someone stood in that alley for at least an hour removing the back of the shed. So glad to have an alarm system in the house! I now store my yard equipment in the spare bedroom, how sad is that?

Re: Breakins
Part of the break-in problem may be due to the transients that are hanging out @ 703 W. Peninsular St. I suspect that one or more are living out of a utility shed on the property. I have called TPD?’s non-emergency number when I see transients on the property, and urge others in the neighborhood to do the same.
