In the last TRHOA membership meeting, the issue of lighting on the street was discussed. This was presented as a safety issue for children at dusk and early evening. Recent theft of a computer from a car in a driveway has elevated the concern of many neighbors.
Based on the input from you, I will work up a position statement on behalf of the residents to provide to the planning commission if there is a majority request for lighting.
Please, express your position on the installation of street lighting in Tana Ridge.
In support of Neighborhood Watch efforts - please consider turning your outdoor lighting on at dusk and into the evening hours. Keep car doors and house doors locked and secured when you are not at home.
I look forward to hearing from you!

Nielsens Say Yes - Paul
I know Rhonda has already replied and I second that we would be in favor of
street lights and we assume that we would have to pay for it in a special
assessment somehow. I would add that often, cities will allow an upgrade
option that is a much ''prettier'' light pole design if the subdivision would
pay more for it. We would be very much in favor of paying more for that
upgrade particularly if it looked considerably better and fit our upscale
neighborhood theme. Our thinking would be if we are going to be asked to
pay for street lights, why not pay up for a nice light and get something
that helps our home values too!
Happy Thanksgiving,

Child Safety
Hello Rita, we are very much in favor for street lighting. Just last week I was thinking how dark it was when Sarah was walking down to the Matchey's house and I was thinking how much street lighting even a few would be helpful. Even though it was only three doors down I could not see her after the second house. Some street lighting would be a big improvement in safety. Rhonda Nielsen

Lights for Safety
Greetings All,
Dan and I are in full support for the future lighting of Tana Ridge. It has been a safety topic at our house for some time. The safer we make our neighborhood the more sleep we can all get at night. We are in favor of putting in at least 3 street lights in. We like the look of the Fields' lighting.
I also spoke up at our last association meeting and I have emailed Rita our feelings on this issue. It has become clearer than ever with the latest issues that the lighting of our nieghborhood is in the best interest of us all.
With Great Regards for Safety,
Barbie and Dan Fed
