Neighbors,
Wednesday night there was an incident in our neighborhood on Old Pond as follows:
"A young woman came to my door saying she was lost, looking for "Estate" (either a street or a neighborhood) so that she could pick up Boxer puppies. She said she was looking for the Mantias. I told her there was no street around here like that. I also checked my directory for Mantia and found none.
She continued to talk about how lost she was but wasn't really trying to find out how to get to "Estate" from any directions she had. I said I could not help and she left.
Then about 30 min later (8pm ish), I walked down Old Pond with my dog and turned right on Tanager. The same women was talking to the man three houses down. I called from the sidewalk to tell her that I know there was no street and why was she still here. She got a little snotty. I said I could ask the police to help her find her way if she was still lost. I walked off but got her license plate. She very soon returned to her car and drove off. I noticed there was a young adult male in the car as well. It was weird. I know my garage was open and so was the house where she was at on Tanager"
The incident and the license plate number was reported to the police.
Another neighbor has spoken to a Montgomery police officer and he mentioned that they have already tried to get into a garage on old pond. They are looking for open garage doors. Both people are wanted.
The car is a White Ford Explorer 2004 with the plate EMS-1686
Please call the police if you see this car, try to keep your garage doors shut, particularly at night. I'm sorry for it being a couple days later to get this email out, I was out of town.
Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.
