Since we do not have a playground that is conveniently located to us our children do not have a safe area to play.  Therefore they end up playing basketball or other games in the street.  Summer is now here and we need to be careful when driving.  Look out for our children when they are at play.  If you have children outside playing, remind them to look out for cars and to move safely to the sides of the road when a car approaches.  Also remind them to watch out for the property of others especially when playing ball games in the street.  One more important point is for our children to play nicely with each other.  We do not want our children to be bullied and therefore we need to teach our children to play nicely with each other and to be on the lookout for those that bully.  The old golden rule comes in to play here, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!"  Let's have a fun and safe summer for all of us!!
