  • Respect-O-Meter: Valued Neighbor
I live on Edenshire and have for all my life. Very few homes sell so this street has many elderly people living there. One lady has had this gentleman come to her door telling her she owes him money cause he cut limbs out of one of her trees which he didn't and thank goodness she did not give him money. Last month he came to her door carrying a dead rat saying he killed it in her back yard by stomping on it and he needs to bait her yard and she owes him a certain amount of money. Last week back again knocking on her back door with a box of decon to put in her yard and she owes him money. This week back again, BUT my husband happened to be outside and saw him before he knocked on her door, so he walked to her house to see what this gentleman wanted, he said he was there to do tree work for the lady. My husband informed the man that this was his aunt and he was not to do any work at her house. The lady is nervous because he goes to no one else?’s house on the street except hers. Wonder when he leaves her house how many other elderly people?’s houses he goes to doing the same thing. She has contacted the East Precinct BUT never mind. We do have a police officer that lives on the street and he watching also. This is a goldish brown Chevrolet truck with what looks like Desoto County tags, but they are so messed up it hard to read the tag. Usually it is several men in the truck. Keep an eye open because I think they are out to no good!!
