In an effort to gather neighborhood input related to the park irrigation (for the trees recently planted at tht park) please reflect your thoughts on the irrigation cost and/or other possible solutions to keeping the trees growing and possibly adding greenery to Harmony Pointe Park (ie flowers/garden).
The cost for irrigation is as follows:
setting city meter $963 to $1383 (depending if the street has to be cut or not). plus 1329.80 for setting the irrigation system.
Park Irrigation

Personally, I'm not interested in the park, since you've kindly asked, Dawn.

My failed efforts in attempting to encourage poa leaders to effectively enforce parking covenants over the course of the past three years has left me largely disinterested in remaining a paying member of the association. Were I offered an opportunity to drop out of the association, I would seize it at the drop of a hat. If indeed my yearly $100 is not enough to guarantee that neighborhood covenants are politely followed, it should go without saying that I'm hardly inclined to care for park irrigation, to say nothing of paying money that seems to bring me absolutely no dividends whatsoever.

At any rate, thanks for asking.

Dear Mr. Leibold,
Thank you for your reply, the parking issue is a concern for all of us.
My particular email was about the Harmony Pointe Park and while the parking issue is very important, it is a seperate issue. We will again discuss this at the next board meeting, and you are welcome to attend, voice your concerns and discuss possible solutions. They are held the 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:00 at 531 Rocky Crossing.
Disappointment

Can't tell you precisely how happy I will be to offer a few opinions at the next poa meeting, Dawn. In all frankness, I only posted my parking concerns on this thread because you hadn't returned my private e-mail regarding the matter. It probably goes without saying that I'm profoundly disappointed to learn that Mr. Stanton, himself no longer a neighborhood resident, is still at the poa helm. Why am I unsurprised at the news?

Perhaps you'll offer me the opportunity at the next meeting to opt out of poa membership? After all, as I've noted on countless earlier occasions, I'm extraordinarily sick of the extortion of my monthly fees, and the glaring failure of the poa to enforce it's own rules.
